AIIMS NORCET 7 Syllabus 2024

AIIMS has invited Online Application for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-7 for the recruitment of Nursing Officer posts at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-, Group-B for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS as per available vacancies in the respective Institutes. The Online (CBT) for Stage I of NORCET Preliminary will be held on 15th September 2024 (Sunday) whereas the Online (CBT) for Stage II i.e. NORCET Mains will be held on 4th October 2024 (Friday).

AIIMS NORCET 7 Exam Pattern 2024

Candidates must check AIIMS NORCET 7 Exam Pattern 2024 before commencing the preparation. It highlights the exam format, types of questions, maximum marks, and other exam requirements. Check the weightage of  AIIMS NORCET 7 Syllabus 2024 for prelims and mains below.

AIIMS NORCET 7 Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

• The NORCET Preliminary stage is a qualifying examination where a candidate who qualifies in the test will be allowed to appear in Stage II.
• The exam duration shall be 90 minutes.
• 100 MCQs of 100 marks with four alternatives for each question. (20 MCQs related to General Knowledge & Aptitude & 80 MCQs related to the AIIMS NORCRET 7 syllabus of Nursing courses being taught at the essential qualification level)
• There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
• The question paper consists of 5 sections each of 18 minutes in duration, where each section will contain 20 questions.
• NORCET Preliminary will not be used for deciding Merit/Rank for final selection.

AIIMS NORCET 7 Mains Exam Pattern 2024

• NORCET Main exam marks are considered for the preparation of the list.
• Candidates qualifying as per the scheme of examination in Stage I equal to 5 times the total seats in each category (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) are shortlisted for Stage II.
• The exam duration shall be 180 minutes.
  160 MCQs of 160 marks with four alternatives for each question related to the subject covering the entire AIIMS NORCET 7 syllabus of Nursing courses being taught at the essential qualification level focused towards case scenario-based questions for testing nursing skills competency.
• There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
• Question paper comprises 4 sections of 45 minutes each containing 40 questions.

AIIMS NORCET 7 Syllabus 2024 Subject Wise

The NORCET Syllabus is divided into two parts i.e. prelims and mains exam. The NORCET Preliminary stage is a qualifying examination where a candidate who qualifies in the test will be allowed to appear in Stage II whereas NORCET Main exam marks are considered for preparation of the merit list of candidates. The NORCET 7 Prelims syllabus will be divided into 5 sections each of 18 minutes duration, where each section will contain 20 questions whereas the NORCET 7 Mains Syllabus will be divided into 4 sections of 45 minutes each containing 40 questions.
